4/4/08 - Finally weeded out the dead links! Amazingly little to weed out, considering the amount of time it's been. For further linkage and interests of the site, you're better off visiting the forum, as my interests change too much and new Punky sites don't pop up enough to trigger updates here. Punky links, such as there are: Punky's Place Photo Gallery In place of the late, great, and seemingly only Punky Brewster fan site, here's what looks to be its photo archive. A Shining Star Here's a good place to start if you're looking for what Soleil Moon Frye did after Punky. And now, here's what I read in my spare time. Well, such as it is. X-Entertainment A smorgasboard of all sorts of things that you born '83 or earlier better remember! Great read. BadMoviesDotOrg Wide selection of reviews for b-movies of all sorts? Yeah, they got that. Cold Fusion Video Another big selection of reviews. Use them both (and their links sections) and you'll never be stuck for chessy horror or sci-fi again. DVD Verdict Looking for a more mainstream review site? Here you go. The Filthy Critic Funny, foul-mouthed, white-trash reviewer who knows even more about movies than he does porn. Even if he won't admit to it. Just click the link before I spend three paragraphs putting the place over. Toon Tracker Got a theme song from a cartoon stuck in your head? Chances are you'll find it here. ReBoot Mayhem I happen to be a big fan of ReBoot, too. The Old Computer Dot Com 8-bit computer emulators of all types can be downloaded here. Includes sections for the Atari consoles, and probably the biggest working NES archive on the 'Net. We Ain't Cool Looking for alternatives in the "vaguely-retro column-based" category? Look here. Sitcoms Online Look up a whole bunch of TV sitcoms at once. The fact that you can download the themes (usually in a few versions) is just icing on the cake. JumptheShark.com Jump the Shark: The act of a TV show to finally hit one defining moment that indicates its doom, or at least the death of quality. Jabootu.com A movie review site with some of the longest reviews ever. And some of the most insightful. And man, does this guy know his film history! |
